In order to secure the company's quality competitiveness and satisfy customers, I establish and implement overall measures related to quality planning and improvement to continuously improve the quality management system.

KDI is a company with competitiveness in the field of guided ammunition and fuses based on its 230mm class MLRS business. Currently, the domestic Guryong multiple launch unit is being replaced by a 230mm-class MLRS, and I thought that KDI has great potential for development through the 230mm-class rocket and exports to the Middle East. Additionally, I joined the company thinking that efforts to raise the status of the Korean defense industry on the world stage through continuous research and development would be a driving force that would allow me to work at the company with pride.

With attitude to follow basic objectivity/principles and the guts carry out, firstly smooth communication skills, secondly responsibility, and lastly interest in people and business are important. There are very few tasks that I can do alone. Since things needs to be improved by communicating with each factory and research institutes, good communication skills and understanding of the business are important.

Defense industry R&D generally designs/manufactures products according to military requirements and develops a complete weapon system through comprehensive evaluation. In addition, by analyzing the weapon systems of advanced countries, prior research can be carried out through the regulated procedures for areas that are thought to be necessary for future development.

KDI is contributing to the national defense industry, such as multiple weapon systems and intelligent ammunition systems, based on its proprietary fuse, warhead, and system development technology. I thought that working hard at KDI could be the best way to contribute to the development of the country at this point, even if it doesn't stand out.

KDI has items that can only be made and accomplished in KDI. There are also researchers who have accumulated expertise in the field of defense for a long time. Based on the foundation to grow into a global defense company, if we have a common goal of strengthening not only individual but also organizational capabilities, we will be able to become good KDI people.

I joined the production team, but now I am a member of the purchasing part of the operation team, where I am responsible for accounting for purchased materials, performing ERP Operator (warehousing), and carrying out warehousing of own items for outsourced products.

Although it looks simple, I was drawn to the charm of ‘Can you manufacture the new fuse yourself?’, and I had to apply with the recommendation of an acquaintance in the field.

We pride ourselves on working for a company specializing in guided munitions and fuses. Because of that responsibility and affection, I am doing my best with a positive mind every moment.
